Hi! My name is Gemma, and I am a South African, teaching in Barcelona. I have plenty of experience, having taught at a school in Terrassa, as well as an English Academy in Montgat.
I take private lessons, as well as small groups. This ranges from level A1 - C1, as well as preparation for the Cambridge Exam.
I will assist you with grammar, conversation, writing, listening, reading, and exam preparation. This won't necessarily always be out of a book, as I like to incorporate creative and interesting (and fun!) methods of practical learning too!

I am a musician (drummer) and a qualified screenwriter - so I like to use my creativity to make the lessons fun and interesting!
I love working with people and animals, I love to keep fit, I love writing films and tv series (especially horror!), and I love writing and playing music! I am a huge fan of being outdoors and water-sports.

I graduated from the University of Cape Town - the top University in Africa. It proved to me that while I love to teach, I also love to learn. I believe that as much as I can teach someone else, they can in turn, teach me.

Meeting new people, both young and old, is a great passion for me - and I especially love it when we come from different worlds and we share different experiences!

I am a native English speaker, but I speak fluent Spanish too.
